Netherlands Holidays 2025 & 2026
Dutch public holidays 2025
* Kings’s Day In 2025 will be observed on April 26 instead of April 27, as the latter falls on a Sunday.
** Liberation Day (May 5) is a national holiday celebrated across the Netherlands with events and festivities, including concerts and public gatherings. However, most businesses and schools remain open on this day. Only once every five years (in lustrum years, such as 2025 and 2030) is Liberation Day recognized as an official day off for most employees, depending on employment agreements.
